Anthony 'Tony' Violante tragically passed away on February 17, 2019 at the age of 56.
Tony was born in Hartford Connecticut and moved with his family to St. Petersburg in 1975 where he attended Dixie Hollins High school in St Petersburg Florida. Tony was an employee at Stoneworks in Largo Florida. For many years prior he worked at Tackle Shack Water Sports where he found his passion for windsurfing, kayaking and, fishing. His love for the beach and sea was infectious and has given his friends and family their greatest memories of him. Tonys greatest joy and best times were spent watching his daughter, Julia, play soccer.
As a man with a zest for life, you couldn't deny his presence when he walked into a room or met you. His heart found love for everyone he met. Tony will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Tony is survived by his wife of 21 years Kelly Violante and daughter Julia Violante. Brother, Louis Violante, and sisters; Marylu Violante, Denise Bulson, Anita McCann, Doreen Ellis, Annette Beaton, Linda Benitez and, Regina Violante,
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and other family members who loved him dearly. Tony was preceded in death by his father Louis Violante, mother Dora Violante and brother Peter Violante.
In honor of Tony's passion for the beach and bringing his family and friends together, there will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 3pm to 7 pm at The Civitan Beach Club, 18602 Gulf Blvd, Indian Shores, FL 33785.
In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been established for his daughter, Julia.
