Gertrude A. Magulick, 94, of Seminole, Fl., fell asleep in the Lord on October 19, 2017. She will be deeply missed by the many family members, relatives and friends whose lives she touched and in turn, who touched her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel ("Danny"), and is survived by her daughter Mary Atkinson, and sons Daniel Magulick and John Magulick, as well as 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 9, 1922. Gertrude was always quick to make a friend and never missed a birthday, anniversary or occasion to make someone feel special. Leading an exemplary life of kindness and faith in God, she remained active throughout her entire life, volunteering her time in retirement at places such as Starkey Elementary School, Gus Stavros Institute and Largo Medical Center. She also maintained correspondence with many of her out of state friends and family through the mail, to whom she would send stamps as a gift and would receive them in return. Her love of God and zest for life were always evident. She took care of herself daily through prayers and exercise, both mentally and physically, and was an example to all. Our family has been blessed by her life and hope that in some way those who knew her have been too. We ask that you please remember Gert from time to time with a short prayer or a rosary, and of course, a smile.
Friends will be received at the Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave., Friday, October 27 from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at
