Thom Brian Swift, 45, of St. Petersburg, FL died on December 6, 2012. Thom was born in Lansing, MI on August 16, 1967. He was a graduate of Indiana University and worked as a Senior Operations Manager with Florida Blue in Tampa. Thom had a passion for music; a fine appreciation for the arts and a sincere love for animals; His favorite pastime was the world of competitive drum and bugle corps; Drum Corps International (DCI).
Survivors include his beloved and loving mother; Sharon Rodgers of Pinellas Park, FL. Thom was predeceased by his dear brother, Brent Swift who passed away in 1991. Also surviving are his Uncle, Mark Chase of Pinellas Park; his Dad, Vance Swift; several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Thom leaves behind his close and devoted friends with whom he shared a special bond. Thom was an all around great guy who loved his many friends and co-workers who meant so much to him.
A celebration of Thom's life will take place on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL between 6 and 8 PM, with a chapel service at 6:30 PM. Internment will be private.
