After his retirement, he dedicated his time and took great pride as a 20-year volunteer with the St. Petersburg Police Department in their forensics photo lab and as a road patrol officer. He retired from the police department last year.

Mr. Jolliff was preceded in death by his wife Paula Jolliff. He is survived by two sons and their spouses, Cliff Jolliff and Elaine Gerke, who live in Maysville, Georgia, and Brad and Joy Jolliff, who live in St. Louis; by two granddaughters and their spouses, Katherine (married to Will Dunn, living in New Orleans), and Lauren (married to Jaco Haasbroek, living in Reston, Virginia); and great grandson, Noah Haasbroek.
