June A Wedding, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 due to complications from a stroke. June was born in New Bedford, MA to Ernest "Ernie" and Mary "Mae" Amaral. She was married to C. Randolph "Randy" Wedding until he passed away in 2012. June graduated from FSU where she was a sister in Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She continued her involvement with the sorority throughout her life as a member of the St Petersburg Alumnae Panhellenic Association. June was also very involved in numerous charitable organizations in St Petersburg including being a co-founder of Sallie's Angels. She was a member of the St Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered in the St Anthony's gift shop for 12 years. She was also a member of Infinity, the St. Petersburg Women's Chamber of Commerce, P.E.O. and Boley Centers. In 2013, June was honored for her many years of volunteer work by being named a Princess on the Queen of Hearts Court and receiving the Eleanor Jones Tanner Panhellenic Woman of the Year Award. In 2014, June was presented with the Roy G Harrell Jr Leadership Award by the St Anthony's Foundation.

June is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Ann Nipper and their children Matthew and Delaney, her daughter and son-in-law Kristie and Rob Johnston and their children Shaun and Spencer; her stepson and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Janet Wedding and their children Elizabeth, married to Chris, with their daughter Margaret and Charlie; her two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Daryl and Steve Shepherd and their children Erin and Clay and Dorian and Steve Cameron and their children Drew and Tad.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary at
A Gathering of Friends will be on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave., St Petersburg, FL. The Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10:30AM also at Brett Funeral Home.
