Native Tampa, Hillsborough High School Graduate of 1955. He graduated Florida Southern College 1959 with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in journalism. U.S. Navy active duty 7-20-59 through 7-29-61 Stationed at Norfolk Virginia Naval Base and survived a ship collision aboard Destroyer escort USS Darby. He worked in Cape Canaveral for Aerospace Services Division of Pan American World Airways as Public Director, wrote articles and did photographs of company activities for local, national and international press. Was involved with manned space program from Mercury through Apollo moon missions. He moved to Charlotte NC in 1975 and formed "George Dill and Associates", providing marketing communication for major manufacturing companies based in Charlotte area with international interests. George traveled worldwide for business and pleasure. He was a member of Aviation Space Writers Association and Delta Sigma Pi, Business Fraternity.
