Obituary

MINAFRA, Anthony ''Tony'', 85, passed away Monday, October 18, 2004 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. He was born in New York City and moved to this area in 1984 from Long Island, NY. He was the owner of a fuel oil company. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a member of the Sons of Itlay, John Paul Lodge #2427 where he was past president, trustee of Grand Lodge, a delegate to national convention, and editor of LaNotizia. He was a former member of Moose Lodge and a former member of the Elks in Lynbrook, NY. He was an avid golfer and a member of Largo Mens Golf Association. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vincenza ''Vini'' Minafra of St. Petersburg, FL, a son, Louis of Long Island, NY, a brother, Louis of Pittsfield, MA and a grandson, Joseph of Orinda, CA.
