Cremation does not take the place of customary funeral ceremonies; it is merely another form of final disposition.
Most people who choose cremation still want to have some sort of ceremony or final tribute. Funeral ceremonies are the way we, the living share our grief, acknowledge the contribution the deceased had made in our lives, and prepare ourselves for going on with our lives.
Choosing the Right Crematory
Since 1960, Brett Funeral Home has provided funeral services to thousands of St. Petersburg families. We own our own crematory. This is very important to insure peace of mind for you and your family. Because we own our own crematory, we have total control over the professional and ethical standards that we expect and demand.
Because we own our own crematory, we can ensure prompt attention to your needs with no scheduling delays. We are here to serve you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Because we own our own crematory, we can guarantee integrity. We can assure you that the cremated remains you receive are, without doubt, the remains of your loved one.

Life Memory Video
Special photographs, provided by your family are assembled in a video (DVD) that vividly recalls memories to family and friends. The video is enhanced by pleasing background music lasting about three minutes and can be shown at a specific point during the ceremony. It can be viewed on our large flat screen in our chapel, at your church or at home. We can produce these videos in less than 24 hours.
Using a photograph provided by your family, our technicians create a simulated fine oil painting. Available in many sizes, these protraits are displayed during the ceremony and later kept by the family as a lifetime keepsake.
